this image comes from this post about the walled world. i was going to post the whole post here, but realized that would be wrong. so instead – here’s the image.. click on it to see it bigger… here’s the post: walled world from the humanitarian chronicle. it’s upsetting to me. it’s even more upsetting to me that the 3 yellow dots in the pacific northwest of the US and the pacific southwest of canada are portland, seattle, and vancouver (it doesn’t say so, but it has to be) – three of the 4 cities (the 4th being eugene, of course) i’d like to end up in when i’m done. what does that say about me? that i like rich, expensive. no.. but that my people have a lot of money. why aren’t we sending it some other place? i dunno if that’s a correct assumption – that my people have money- but i really wish that 3 of the 4 cities of my dream weren’t 3 cities on that map.
