m. her r
she is a lesbian, radical feminist, cat lover, bibliophile, non-smoker, unitarian universalist (though she doesn't go to fellowship on a regular basis) and in the process of becoming athletic again. she dreams of being jeanne d' arc and swooping in and saving those that need saved (though she'd rather not be burned at the stake). she is a loyal friend who will do anything she can for those she loves, but she can flakey sometimes when her depression flares up. she is a loner. a southerner self-transplanted to the pacific northwest in 1998 and now believes that it doesn't rain enough here. she's known for her honesty, she can't help it, its the only way to be. she is 4'8" tall, and round. she has natural blonde hair and she also has blue eyes. she is very intense. she hates small and large crowds, she prefers the one on one or the one on a few. she has no idea what she wants to do with her life, though she would like to see more of the world than what she has seen so far (a good part of the continental united states) and she very much wants to be a mother. finally, she has huge crushes on alix olson and carolyn gage (these are from a far).

right now i really hate w. bush

i've been corresponding with a member of the military and his buddies over the last few days. a lot of hate has been thrown around. i'll just say this-- i hate george w. bush more than anyone else in this world, because they say they fight for peace and i vigil for peace. george w. bush is tearing this nation apart, and he doesn't give a damn. george w. bush does not believe in the sanctitiy of all human life. ALL HUMAN LIFE, not just american ones. george w. bush has never served in war.. how can he lead a country to war when he's never been on the front lines. he is an upper class prince who is so out of touch with reality i can't believe it. AND THE FUCKED UP THING is that people want to believe that their government is doing the right thing, they listen to the propoganda. well dammit, this is ridiculous.

right now i really hate this country. AND YES, I'M GETTING THE FUCK OUT. i'm leaving for greece in 2 weeks and i very might well stay there. THAT WILL MAKE ALL OF YOU WAR MONGERS HAPPY. hate me all you want.

sometimes i get sick of being nice, and believing in non violence cause i'd just like to slap a few people. really smack them hard, try to get some sense into them. and sometimes i get sick of being on the side of peace.. it'd be a hell of a lot easier if i believed in violence. THEN PEOPLE WOULDN'T HATE ME.

yes, i hate other people and i'm welcomed into the fold of this fucking country. yeah, a country created by people who left to escape hate.

makes a lot of fucking sense, doens't it?

FUCK FUCK FUCK.

Clinton never served in the armed forces, yet several times ordered military action. Did you speak up then? Hypocrisy.

I have been reading your blog for a long time now, and though I rarely agree with your opinions, I've never commented before because I have respected your right to those opinions. Maybe I'm reading this wrong...but did you say that you have corresponded with members of the military (men and women who just might happen to believe in what they are doing just as much as you believe in what you are doing) and that you're angry because they don't agree with you?? Do you hate everyone who has a different opinion than you do? I'm not being sarcastic here, I'm really curious. The "sense" you would like to slap into these people....is that YOUR sense, a sense that you believe in yet you can't understand why they might feel the same way about "their sense"?
If people "hate you" maybe it's because you push too hard to make them believe the way you do. My ancestors came over on the Mayflower too...and fought in the same wars as yours did and I believe they did it so that we could have the freedoms that we have, so that we could think independently and follow our own beliefs. I think they fought so that we could say that we hated our country if that's how we felt, and we could say it without fear. And yes, this country was created by people who left to escape hate...who left to escape people rather like you, who have no tolerance for other peoples beliefs or their rights to have them.
